LETHBRIDGE, AB – There are some fun events in the Lethbridge area this weekend, and Lethbridge News Now has the details.

Lethbridge Bulls home games – June 21-22, 2024

The Lethbridge Bulls are home this weekend. and have two games on the schedule. On Friday night, the Bulls will finish off their series against the Edmonton Prospects. They will follow that up on Saturday when they host the Medicine Hat Mavericks. Tickets for the games can be found here.

International Film Nights: El Facilitador – June 21, 2024

The Multicultural Centre is holding another International Film Night on Friday, June 21 showcasing Ecuador. They will be screening El Facilitador, a story of a woman returning to Ecuador to reunite with her sick father. The film begins at 7, and doors open at 6:30.

National Indigenous Peoples Day – June 21, 2024

The City of Lethbridge is celebrating National Indigenous Peoples Day on June 21, 2024. Starting at 10 a.m., the community is invited to attend the inaugural flag raising of the Métis flag at the newly installed flagpole along Métis Trail at the Blackfoot Boulevard West intersection. From there, an opening ceremony and free feast will be held at Galt Gardens beginning at noon.

2024 Sluggers Summer Solstice – June 21-23, 2024

The YQL Sluggers baseball program is hosting a tournament in the city this weekend. The Sluggers and Lethbridge PBA are two of the eight teams in the tournament, which runs all weekend beginning Friday at 3:00.

Lethbridge Pride Parade – June 22, 2024

Lethbridge Pride is hosting the 16th annual Pride Parade on Saturday. The parade begins at 11:00, moving north on Stafford Drive S, taking a left on 3rd Ave S, and a final right turn onto 5th St. S to finish. The parade will be followed by a day of celebration at Galt Gardens.

Lethbridge Farmers Market – June 22, 2024

The weekly market runs at the Lethbridge & District Agri-Food Hub & Trade Centre every Saturday beginning on June 8 and running until October 12. 2024 marks the first year the market will be at its new venue.

5K Foam Fest – June 22, 2024

5k Foam Fest has 25 of some of the best and most exciting obstacles in the world including the worlds largest inflatable waterslide, slip and slides, and mucky mud pits. Registration and information on the event can be found here.

Warner Day – June 22, 2024

The Village of Warner is hosting Warner Day on Saturday. The day of events kicks off at 8:00 a.m. with a pancake breakfast. The rest of the day includes a market, car show, live music, beer gardens and a cornhole tournament.
