Lethbridge leads medal count as Southern Alberta Summer Games wrap up in Coaldale

COALDALE, AB – The Southern Alberta Summer Games wrapped up this weekend in Coaldale.

This was the first time the event has been held in four years.

The City of Lethbridge lead the way in the medal count, bringing home 320 total medals, including 146 gold.

The Municipal District of Taber was second with 136 medals, 62 being gold.

The City of Medicine Hat had the third best medal count with 82 total, including 38 gold, 23 silver and 21 bronze.

Cypress County brought home 24 medals, 11 gold, nine silver and four bronze.

Results for the 13 municipalities that participated are available on the Southern Alberta Summer Games website.
