Nominate your Mighty Neighbour initiative is back for the summer

The City of Lethbridge is once again celebrating the unsung heroes of the community with the Mighty Neighbour Initiative. This time, it’s the Super Summer Edition.

The city deemed the Winter Warrior Edition a major success with over 80 submissions of helpful acts from neighbours.

Heather Gowland, Transportation Community Coordinator said, “There’s support for this kind of program so the City’s decided to keep it going with the launch of a summer edition.” 

the City of Lethbridge has created characters to showcase examples of community heroes: Lena the Litter Legend, Sonny the Spark and Poop-Scoopin’ Penny.

To nominate a Mighty Neighbour, simply visit the City of Lethbridge’s website and share the story of how your neighbour came to save the day.
