Relocation of Lethbridge public health to Melcor Centre taking place this weekend

LETHBRIDGE, AB – Public health appointments in Lethbridge will soon be conducted in a new location.

Alberta Health Services (AHS) says staff and programs at the downtown Lethbridge Train Station are being permanently moved to the Melcor Centre this weekend.

It will be next to the entrance to The Bay on the west end of the mall.

Services are expected to be at full capacity in the new location by Thursday, July 25, 2024.

Public health programs include pre- and post-natal supports, immunization, population and public health program, preschool/school oral health services, public health nursing, sexual and reproductive health, environmental public health, comprehensive school health and public health nutrition.

The Melcor Centre is located at 200 4 Ave. S. Clients attending appointments at the Melcor Centre can park for free in the parkade outside of The Bay’s west entrance.
