Motorcyclist killed in collision in Coleman

CROWSNEST PASS, AB – The RCMP says one person died in a collision in southwestern Alberta.

The Crowsnest Pass RCMP received a report of a collision at approximately 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, at the intersection of Highway 3 and 80 Street in Coleman.

Officers say the collision involved a motorcycle and an SUV, but did not elaborate on what exactly happened.

The driver of the motorcycle, a 67-year-old man from B.C., was declared deceased at a local hospital.

The condition of the occupants of the SUV have not been released at this time.
