Day of Caring for Jasper raises $2.9 million

Nearly $3 million will go towards supporting people in Jasper who have been affected by wildfires.
Pattison Media led the Alberta Day of Caring for Jasper fundraiser this past week, through the Canadian Red Cross.
Between donations of cash and bottles, Albertans gave $973,158.
The Governments of Alberta and Canada each provided matching grants, tripling that total to $2,919,474.
