Medicine Hat & Lethbridge have Alberta’s highest growth in housing prices
If you are looking to sell your home, being at the top of this list is certainly good news. For prospective home buyers, however, not so much.
The Alberta Real Estate Association has released its Housing Statistics report for July 2024.
Medicine Hat had the largest increase in housing prices in Alberta by percentage, rising by 20.1 per cent over the last year to an average of $360,692.
Semi-detached homes skyrocketed up 50.5 per cent to $434,814, making them even more expensive than detached homes, which rose by 13.8 per cent to $396,748.
