CARDSTON, AB – UPDATE: The RCMP says Gary Michelson has been found deceased. The cause of his death does not appear suspicious at this time.

The RCMP is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing senior.
They say Gary Michelson, 80, was last seen on Sunday, August 25, 2024.
He was last believed to be checking on a cabin in the area of Police Outpost Lake.
Police have located his vehicle and are continuing to make ground searches nearby.
Michelson is described as 5’11”, 180 lbs, and has a fair complexion and balding hair line. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a black coat, grey t-shirt and a dark ball cap.
