LETHBRIDGE, AB – Its Labour Day weekend, and there is plenty to do in Lethbridge. LethbridgeNewsNow has the details.

Food Truck Fridays – Every Friday

Get your favourite Food Truck meals just outside Nikka Yuko Japanese Garden in the parking area. There are tons of trucks for food both sweet and savoury from noon until 8:00 p.m. Information on the trucks can be found here.

Lethbridge Farmers Market – Saturdays

The weekly market will run at the Lethbridge & District Agri-Food Hub & Trade Centre every Saturday until October 12. 2024 marks the first year the market will be at its new venue.

Summer Saturday – August 31, 2024

Learn more about the art and inspiration for the exhibitions through walking tours of the Galleries at SAAG. Tours will run every Saturday from 1 to 2 p.m. from July until the end of August. Tours are included with admission or free for members.

Crafternoon – August 31, 2024

The Southern Alberta Art Gallery is holding a free-to-attend craft event on Saturday afternoon. Crafternoon is a family-friendly event where participants will be making paintings and drawings inspired by Amanda Chwelos’s exhibition Soft enough to slip through. The event will e from 1 p.m. until 4, and all supplies are provided.

Labour Day BBQ – September 2, 2024

The Lethbridge & District Labour Council is hosting their annual Labour Day BBQ on Monday. The BBQ will take place at Galt Gardens from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m., and will also feature activities like a bouncy castle, face painting and live music.
