Commercial fire under investigation in Lethbridge

Lethbridge Fire and Emergency Services (LFES) says a fire broke out in the warehouse district this past weekend.

Firefighters were called to the 1500 block of 2 Avenue South at approximately 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 1, 2024.

Crews from four stations quickly extinguished the structure fire before it could spread to any nearby buildings.

No injuries were reported.

The cause and origin of the fire remain under investigation. Damages are estimated at $300,000.
