Firefighters battle vehicle fire in north Lethbridge

LETHBRIDGE, AB – Lethbridge Fire and Emergency Services (LFES) is continuing to investigate a vehicle fire on the north side.

At approximately 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, firefighters were called to the 2800 block of 2 Avenue North.

Crews from three vehicles quickly extinguished the blaze. An adjacent building sustained damage, but crews were able to keep it from becoming fully engulfed.

No other structures were impacted.

LFES says nobody was hurt.

Investigators are still working to determine the cause of the fire. Damages are estimated at $125,000.
