LETHBRIDGE, AB – Three Lethbridge Bulls have been recognized for their excellent 2024 seasons.

Jack Kalisky, Adonis Bernal and Javier De Alejandro have both been named as Western Canadian Baseball League (WCBL) 2nd Team All-Stars. The announcement came on Monday, September 17 as part of WCBL Awards Week.

Kalisky was named to the team as a designated hitter. In his second season with Lethbridge, Kalisky hit for a .307 batting average along with seven home runs, 47 runs batted in (RBI), and seven stolen bases. He also serves as a relief pitcher, posting a dazzling 1.64 earned run average (ERA) over 22 innings. He finished the year with seven saves.

Adonis Bernal was named to the all-star team following his first season in Lethbridge. Bernal, who plays for the New Mexico Military Institute during the college season, joined the Bulls in 2024 and established himself as a power threat in their lineup. The 6’0 outfielder hit six home runs and 31 RBIs in 45 games.

De Alejandro made the roster as a starting pitcher, leading the Bulls with 55 innings pitched over nine starts. In those starts, he finished with a 3.27 ERA and had a 6-1 record. De Alejandro struck out 52 batters while only walking eight, and was named the game one starter for the team in the playoffs.
