Lethbridge Fire and Emergency Services responds to southside commerical fire

LETHBRIDGE, AB – Lethbridge Fire and Emergency Services is investigating a commercial structure fire.
On Tuesday, October 1, 2024, crews responded to reports of a fire at the 1400 block of 2 Avenue South at approximately 6:47 a.m.
Crews from four fire stations arrived to find three vehicles and a commercial building next to them engulfed in flames. Firefighters worked quickly, and were able to bring the fire under control and prevent it from spreading beyond the property.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation, and damage is estimated at $25,000.
