LETHBRIDGE, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes picked up another home game victory.

They welcomed the Moose Jaw Warriors on Friday, October 4, 2024, winning 4-3.

The Warriors were dominant early on, scoring two goals in the first seven minutes.

Brayden Edwards then scored twice in the first period, the first of which was during a power play.

Nobody on either team hit the net in the second period.

The third period saw the Canes take the lead thanks to goals from Logan Wormald and Leo Braillard.

Although Moose Jaw scored one more time before the end of the game, it was not enough to turn things back around in their favour.

Edwards and Wormald were named the first two stars of the game respectively, while Lethbridge goalie Brady Smith was the third star as he made 19 saves.

The Lethbridge Hurricanes have improved their at-home record to 3-0-0-0 and have only lost one regular season clash on the road.

Up next, the Hurricanes invite the Vancouver Giants to the VisitLethbridge.com Arena on Friday, October 11.
