Oct 9, 2024 | 9:07 AM

Coalhurst Town Council has announced the Town’s new Chief Administrative Officer.

Karlene Betteridge will take on the role after serving as Director of Legislative Services. Betteridge began working for the Town in January 2023.

Mayor Lyndsay Montina says, “It’s clear to myself and Council that Ms. Betteridge has a deep commitment to public service and a passion for bringing people together to make positive things happen within the community.”

She continued, “That’s just one reason we’re looking forward to working with her to continue advancing Council’s Strategic Plan while also looking toward a bright and growth-minded future for Coalhurst.”

Betteridge holds a Bachelor of Arts in Policy Studies from Mount Royal University, and previously worked for the City of Lethbridge within the office of the City Clerk.
