Exhibition’s budget deficit shrinking, thanks in part to successful Whoop-Up Days
LETHBRIDGE, AB – Officials say things are starting to look better for Lethbridge & District Exhibition (Exhibition).
They made their October report to the city’s Economic Standing Policy Committee this week, showing that while the group is still in the red, it is not by nearly as much.
Exhibition had a budget shortfall of $1.9 million at the end of August 2024, which is less than a third of the $6.5 million that was initially estimated for the fiscal year.
Lethbridge Mayor Blaine Hyggen says it is great to see the organization moving in the right direction.
