Lethbridge Conservation Association donates turkeys to local food banks

LETHBRIDGE, AB – The Lethbridge Conservative Association is doing their part to help families this thanksgiving.
They have donated 13 fresh turkeys to support families in need to the Interfaith Food Bank and Lethbridge Food Bank.This contribution is a result of the Association’s annual Thanksgiving Turkey Fundraiser.
In addition to purchasing a turkey for themselves, supporters were encouraged to donate a turkey to the local Food Banks. The turkeys came from the Fairlane Hutterite Colony.
Jonathan Koopmans, President of the Lethbridge Conservative Association says, “In times of need, it’s essential that we come together as a community. This donation is our way of contributing to efforts to ensure no one goes without a meal this Thanksgiving.”
