MP Rachael Thomas accepting nominations for King Charles III Coronation Medal

LETHBRIDGE, AB – Rachael Thomas, the Member of Parliament for Lethbridge, has opened nominations for the King Charles III Coronation Medal.

The medal is the first to mark the coronation of King Charles III, which took place on May 6, 2023. Thomas announced that she will be awarding 20 medals to constituents in Lethbridge.

To be eligible, a person must:

• Have made a significant contribution to Canada or to a particular province, territory, region of, or community in, Canada, or attained an outstanding achievement abroad that brings credit to Canada
• Have been alive on May 6, 2023, the date of The King’s Coronation.
• Be a resident of the City of Lethbridge or Lethbridge County.

Thomas said, “Our region is filled with incredible people who continually go above and beyond to serve the betterment of our region. I look forward to recognizing 20 of these individuals with this very special medal.”
