Weekend fire in Coaldale under investigation

COALDALE, AB – Crews are investigating a fire in Coaldale.
On October 19, 2024 at approximately 5:00 a.m., Coaldale & District Emergency Services crews responded to reports of an outside fire.
Upon arrival, they found a trailer and a vehicle fully engulfed in flames. Due to the high winds, the fire quickly spread to three other properties damaging a garage and multiple sheds.
Damage is estimated at approximately $100,000, and the investigation is ongoing.
