LPS officer charged in off-duty incident
LETHBRIDGE, AB – A member of the Lethbridge Police Service (LPS) has been charged in connection with an off-duty incident.
The constable, whose identity will not be released to protect the identity and privacy of the victim, was arrested on Tuesday, October 29, 2024 by RCMP, who assisted with the investigation.
He is charged with criminal harassment, mischief and being unlawfully in a dwelling house, in connection with domestic-related matters. The constable is a 20-year member of the LPS and has been suspended.
The charged officer and his family have been offered appropriate supports from LPS during the court process.
