LETHBRIDGE, AB – We are into the final two months of the year, and there are plenty of events to take in around Lethbridge. Lethbridge News Now has all the details.

In Tongues – November 4-8, 2024

The University of Lethbridge is beginning its run of In Tongues at the University’s theatre. When true crime author Cara dies alone in her British Columbia cabin while researching an infamous killer, her husband and sister are left searching for answers. The show is created by U of L alumnus James Odin Wade, and is directed by Anastasia Siceac. Shows are at 7:30 all week.

Lethbridge Hurricanes vs. Medicine Hat Tigers – November 6, 2024

The Lethbridge Hurricanes are back in action on Wednesday looking to return to the win column. The Hurricanes have lost back-to-back games, and have the chance to bounce back against their HIghway 3 rivals, the Medicine Hat Tigers. The game will also be goaltender Harrison Meneghin’s return to Lethbridge after being traded to the Tigers in early October. Puck drop is at 7:00.

Pro-amateur Comedy Night – Every Wednesday

Pro-Amateur Night runs every Wednesday at the Good Times Lethbridge Comedy Club downtown. Come see the best local comics or try out comedy yourself. The hosts of the event rotate every week, and it begins at 7:00.

Clue: On Stage – November 6-9, 2024

Was it Miss Scarlett in the library with the candlestick? Colonel Mustard in the conservatory with a revolver? Come to the Empress to find out from November 6 to 9. Empress Theatre is presenting the play Clue: On Stage. This “killer” slapstick comedy is full of murderous mayhem that will leave audiences guessing and laughing. Performances begin at 7 p.m., with a matinée performance on Saturday, Nov. 9 at 1:00 p.m.

Sing 4 the Season – November 6-December 11, 2024

Southern Accord Chorus, an award-winning a cappella ensemble, is holding “Sing 4 the Season,” a six-week festive program inviting women from the Southern Alberta community to join in on making music. Sessions will be held Wednesday evenings from 6:45 to 8:15 PM at the McNally Community Center. Information on the sessions can be found here.

The Hip Experience – November 10, 2024

Dive into an electrifying homage to Canada’s beloved rock legends with The Hip Experience at the Yates Memorial Theatre. From the iconic riffs of “New Orleans is Sinking” to the soulful depth of “Ahead by a Century,” The Hip Experience captures the spirit of Gord Downie and company in their show. The concert begins at 7:30, and tickets can be purchased here.
