LETHBRIDGE, AB – There’s plenty to do around Lethbridge this week, and Lethbridge News Now has the details.

Mario Kart Tournament – November 15, 2024

Hudson’s is hosting a 32-person Mario Kart tournament on Friday night. In the event, which begins at 7:00, the 32 participants will compete in three guaranteed races, with a final bracket for top racers. There will also be food and drink specials, including $2 off double cocktails.

Gin & Junipers – November 15, 2024

Experience a taste of the Nikka Yuko Japanese Garden with Gin & Junipers on Friday night. Each ticket includes three unique gin cocktails, charcuterie and a courtesy admission to the Garden for future use. The event has two times, with one at 6 p.m. and another at 8. Tickets can be purchased here.

Lethbridge & District Kennel Club shows – November 15-17, 2024

Be sure to check out Lethbridge & District Kennel Club’s biggest show to date. This three-day event includes three All Breed Conformation Shows, six All Breed Rally Obedience Trials and more. The event takes place at the Lethbridge & District Exhibition beginning Friday. More information can be found here.

Kodiaks Volleyball – November 15-16, 2024

The Lethbridge Polytechnic Kodiaks volleyball teams are in action on the weekend. On Friday night, both Kodiaks teams will be hosting the Keyano College Huskies. The women’s game is at 6:00, while the men’s team takes the court at 8:00. The next day, they will host the Lakeland College Rustlers, with the games at the same time.

Christmas at Casa – November 15-16, 2024

Casa is hosting their yearly Christmas at Casa event this weekend. The event is a holiday market featuring handcrafted items from local vendors. The market runs on Friday night from 5 until 9, and on Saturday from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. More information can be found here.

Chickadee Pop Up Artisan Market – November 16, 2024

Visit the Chickadee artisan market at the Galt Museum & Archives featuring some of the best talent from Calgary and Lethbridge. Shop handmade pottery, jewelry, textiles, home goods, art, and vintage products from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m.

Lethbridge Hurricanes vs. Victoria Royals – November 16, 2024

The Lethbridge Hurricanes host the Victoria Royals on Saturday night at the VisitLethbridge.com Arena. The Hurricanes are coming off a weekend road trip through Saskatchewan and Manitoba that saw them win all three games. Meanwhile, the Royals have won back to back games. Puck drop is at 7:00.

Christmas Tree Festival – November 17-20, 2024

The annual Christmas Tree Festival is back at the VisitLethbridge.com Arena. Over the course of the four days, there is something for everyone, including family friendly skating, wandering around the tinsel and trees, and the gala and auction. Proceeds from the event directly support innovative equipment and programming for the Chinook Regional Hospital.

Diwali Festival – November 17, 2024

The Galt Museum & Archives is also hosting a Diwali Festival on Sunday. In partnership with the India Canada Cultural Association, this family-friendly event is open to all ages and no registration is required. It will feature art, dancing and food, among other activities, running from 1 p.m. until 5.
