LETHBRIDGE, AB – The Chinook Regional Hospital Foundation (CRHF) is touting this year’s Christmas Tree Festival as a great success.

The event saw dozens of intricately decorated Christmas trees on display at the VisitLethbridge.com Arena and auctioned off.

CEO Crystal Elliott says more than $181,500 was raised.

“Thank you all for being part of this year’s Christmas Tree Festival and Gala! It’s always inspiring to see our community come together with such joy, generosity, and spirit. Each beautifully decorated tree and every contribution made will go a long way toward helping us achieve our goals for the coming year,” says Elliott.

She continues, “I am deeply grateful to our sponsors, volunteers, and all of you for making this event a success. Wishing everyone a happy, healthy holiday season and a prosperous New Year!”

The money raised will be used for healthcare needs in southern Alberta, including equipment, special projects, and a range of different programs.

More than 3,000 people attend the Christmas Tree Festival each year.
