City of Lethbridge activates snow routes Monday, what you need to know

LETHBRIDGE, AB – Snow routes have been activated in Lethbridge for the first time this season.

The activation took effect at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, November 25, 2024.

When this happens, vehicles that are parked along snow route streets must be moved off of the roads.

The City of Lethbridge says this helps to ensure that snow plows can operate efficiently on priority streets.

Snow routes can be identified with a blue snowflake tab above the snow route parking signs.

The City has a snow route tracking map that also shows which streets are designated as snow routes.

Residents can also download the Lethbridge Loop app to stay updated on things like snow route activations, waste collection schedules, and more.
