Two charged in Pincher Creek break and enter investigation
UPDATE, June 3, 2026:
Two Pincher Creek residents have been sentenced following a break-and-enter investigation.
Courtney Michelle Periard, 39, was given an 18-month conditional sentence order and 10-year firearm prohibition on Sept. 5, 2025, after being convicted on one count of housebreaking/commit theft. Three other counts were withdrawn.
Meantime, co-accused, Craig Joseph Peterson, 36, was previously sentenced to three years in jail and a lifetime firearm prohibition on May 1, 2025. Peterson plead guilty to counts of housebreaking/commit theft, break and enter with intent to steal firearm, possess prohibited/restricted firearm, unauthorized possession of prohibited weapon, and possess prohibited firearm. Thirteen other charges were withdrawn.
