Two charged in Vulcan home invasion

LETHBRIDGE, AB – Two people have been charged in connection to a home invasion in Vulcan.

On November 20, 2024 around 5 p.m., Vulcan RCMP received a report of a possible home invasion to a residence in the town. When officers arrived on scene, the suspects had fled, and a victim was left behind with minor injuries.

Police launched an investigation, and identified two suspects.

Brandon Bates, 26, of Vulcan, and Mike Taylor, 35, of Calgary have been charged with break and enter to a residence, assault with a weapon and uttering threats.

They will appear in court in Lethbridge on December 12.
