Eight Lethbridge residents charged in ALERT drug trafficking investigation
Eight people in Lethbridge have been charged in an investigation by ALERT.
The investigation, which also involved the Lethbridge Police Service, aimed to target street-level drug dealers operating in the downtown core, and who were allegedly involved in distributing and profiting from the sale of fentanyl.
Over the course of the investigation, which concluded on December 6, 2024, ALERT seized approximately 12.51 grams of fentanyl in powder form and 2.60 grams of methamphetamine.
