Eight Lethbridge residents charged in ALERT drug trafficking investigation

Eight people in Lethbridge have been charged in an investigation by ALERT.

The investigation, which also involved the Lethbridge Police Service, aimed to target street-level drug dealers operating in the downtown core, and who were allegedly involved in distributing and profiting from the sale of fentanyl.

Over the course of the investigation, which concluded on December 6, 2024, ALERT seized approximately 12.51 grams of fentanyl in powder form and 2.60 grams of methamphetamine.

The following people, all of Lethbridge, have all been charged with at least one charge of drug trafficking:

  • John Jones (32)
  • Aaron Laley (34)
  • Jordan Lehbauer (21)

Additionally, arrest warrants have been issued for the following suspects, all from Lethbridge:

  • Randi Bull Calf (24)
  • Kaylene Jacklin (39)
  • Justin Keshane (41)
  • Celina Twigg (28)
  • Jason Mercer (26)
