Alberta releases advance voting numbers for Lethbridge-West by-election

The Alberta government has released the voter turnout figures for the advance voting in the Lethbridge-West by-election.

Advance voting took place from Tuesday, Dec. 10, through Saturday, Dec. 14, 2024. In the Lethbridge-West riding, there were 37,096 eligible electors who could vote in the advance voting and 6,669 votes were cast.

The 6,669 votes represented 18 per cent of the eligible voters doing so, compared to 28.3 per cent in the 2023 provincial election.

In that election, 10,358 advance votes were cast out of the 36,642 eligible.

Election day in Lethbridge-West is on Wednesday, Dec. 18. Polls will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Those who need more information on where they can vote can find it here.
