Police investigating sudden death of Lethbridge teen

The Lethbridge Police Service (LPS) is continuing to look into a sudden death from this week.

Just after 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 26, 2024, officers were called to the 1600 block of Mayor Magrath Drive South.

Police had received reports that a body had been found outside of a business.

LPS has identified the person as a 13-year-old boy from Lethbridge.

The service is investigating the circumstances behind the death. An autopsy has been scheduled in Calgary for next week.
