LPS responds to second high-risk incident in same day

The Lethbridge Police Service (LPS) has apprehended a suspect in what they call a “high-risk incident.”
Officers were called to a home on the 1800 block of 8A Avenue North at approximately 9:00 p.m. on Monday, December 30, 2024.
Less than half an hour later, LPS says a man was taken into custody.
This was the second time that day that LPS made an arrest in a high-risk incident.
