Snowfall warning issued for parts of southern Alberta

The southwest corner of Alberta can expect a sizeable snowfall.

Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for communities including Lethbridge, Taber, Milk River, Cardston, Fort Macleod, Pincher Creek and Crowsnest Pass.

They say snowfall will begin late in the afternoon on Friday, January 3, and continue until early Saturday afternoon.

Anywhere between 10 and 15 centimetres of snow is expected.

Environment Canada says visibility and road conditions may be impacted and they ask drivers to be cautious.
