LETHBRIDGE, AB – There’s plenty to do around Lethbridge this week, and Lethbridge News Now has the details.

Winter Light Festival – November 29 – February 28, 2025

The Winter Light Festival is back at the Nikka Yuko Japanese Garden. The festival began last Friday, and will run until the end of February 2025. This year’s lights feature the celebration of the four seasons:

  • Haru (Spring)
  • Natsu (Summer)
  • Aki (Fall)
  • Fuyu (Winter)

The festival also features other special events like performances and Horse and Wagon rides. A full list of information is at the Nikka Yuko website.

Lethbridge Hurricanes vs. Moose Jaw Warriors – January 7, 2025

The Lethbridge Hurricanes are back in action on Tuesday night, taking on the Moose Jaw Warriors at the VisitLethbridge.com Arena. The Hurricanes are coming off a shootout win over the Edmonton Oil Kings on Sunday, January 5, and will be getting defenceman Vojtech Port back from the World Juniors. Puck drop is at 7:00.

Trivia Night – Tuesdays

Tuesday night is trivia night at Hudsons in Lethbridge. Trivia begins at 7:00 with the chance to win prizes. In addition, $6 Local Taps are on special, along with $7 chicken strips.

Pro-amateur Comedy Night – Every Wednesday

Pro-Amateur Night runs every Wednesday at the Good Times Lethbridge Comedy Club downtown. Come see the best local comics or try out comedy yourself. The hosts of the event rotate every week, and it begins at 7:00.

The Owl Acoustic Lounge events – All week

There are multiple shows and events taking place at the Owl Acoustic Lounge this week. A full list can be found at the venue’s website.

Wildlife Festival – January 10-12, 2025

The Wildlife Festival returns to Lethbridge this upcoming weekend at the Agri-Food Hub & Trade Centre. Attendees can head to the festival and hang out with a variety of animals, including anteaters, sloths and kangaroos, among others. Information on hours and tickets can be found here.
