Picture Butte Ambulatory Clinic to temporarily close

The Piyami Health Centre ambulatory clinic in Picture Butte will be temporarily closed Wednesday, January 8, 2025.

Alberta Health Services says the closure is due to an unexpected clinical personnel shortage and inability to secure coverage.

The clinic will reopen Thursday, January 9 with regular weeknight clinic hours from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.

The non-urgent walk-in clinic will remain open on Saturday for people who need to see a doctor but don’t need to be seen in the emergency department.
