Lane closures affecting Whoop-Up Drive during wastewater main repair

One lane of Whoop-Up Drive will be closed for the remainder of this week.

The City of Lethbridge says The north lane on westbound Whoop-Up Drive will close daily at 9 a.m. to support the University Siphon repair after a wastewater pipe broke.

The lane is expected to reopen by 3:30 p.m. each day. The southbound River Valley pathway under Whoop-Up Drive will also close for the duration of the siphon repair.

The repair is expected to be complete by January 31, weather permitting.
