Lethbridge Police searching for sexual assault suspect

Lethbridge Police are searching for a suspect in the sexual assault of a 14 year old boy.

LPS says on January 19, 2025, police responded to a report of a sexual assault that had occurred two days earlier.

Police say a 14-year-old boy was walking along Temple Boulevard at approximately 4:45 p.m. when he was approached by a male in a vehicle, who offered him a ride.

The boy accepted, and the suspect proceeded to sexually assault him after driving him to a secluded location in west Lethbridge, dropping him off at a traffic circle along Metis Trail in Copperwood after.

The suspect is described as Caucasian, approximately 30-40 years-old, with a medium build. He was clean shaven, with a pointy noise and some wrinkles on his face.

The victim said the suspect was wearing a black beanie-style toque with grey hair poking out, black sunglasses, an orange hoodie, black vest, blue jeans, brown belt with a lion on the belt buckle and black/grey winter boots. The suspect was also described as speaking with a stutter.

Additionally, police obtained a video surveillance image of the suspect’s vehicle, described as 2013-2020 red Nissan Altima with black winter rims and chrome trim line on the front grill.
