LETHBRIDGE, AB – The University of Lethbridge’s (U of L) Southern Alberta Medical Program has its first scholarship.
Dr. Aileen Cormican, a senior staff specialist at the Chinook Regional Hospital and CEO of her own international teleradiology corporation, has donated $25,000 to create the Dr. Cormican Excellence Scholarship in Rural Medicine. It will be endowed and matched by the ULethbridge Board of Governors matching program.
The scholarship will provide one minimum $2,000 award annually to a U of L student in the Southern Alberta Medical Program.
