LETHBRIDGE, AB – The City of Lethbridge has opened up funding for non-profit community projects.

The Community Capital Projects Grant (CCPG) prioritizes projects that promote inclusivity, diversity, equity and accessibility in recreational, educational and wellbeing opportunities.

The grant has two funding streams:

Stream A: Planning Assistance

  • Supports professional planning and design services for capital projects (e.g., environmental site analysis, geotechnical reports, preliminary design and feasibility studies).
  • Funding: Up to $25,000 or 50 per cent of total project costs (whichever is less).

Stream B: Capital Assistance

  • Supports new facility construction, expansions, renovations, retrofits, tech upgrades and major equipment purchases.
  • Funding: Up to $200,000 or one-third of total project costs (whichever is less).

Applications for the CCPG are being accepted until March 31, 2025. Organizations that do not have a project that meets the CCPG requirements can apply for the Make Your Mark grant program.
