Lethbridge Family Services hosting first ever Spring to Light Gala in 2025

LETHBRIDGE, AB – Lethbridge Family Services (LFS) is holding its’ first ever fundraising event this year with the Spring to Light Benefit Gala.

All proceeds from the function will go towards health and wellness programming for clients in LFS’ DaCapo Disability Services Department, and a mental health and wellness navigator for families and individuals in the Immigrant Services Department.

Event co-chair Mitch Arsenault says the Gala will be packed with things for attendees to do and get involved in.

 

 

 

In addition, LFS has announced a celebrity guest will be in attendance, as Rick Mercer will be there after dinner to speak, share stories and do a Q&A. There will also be live jazz music, a photo booth and the Tompkins Jewelers Mystery Box Fundraiser.

LFS says the money raised will help offer specialized programs to fit the unique needs that different people have.
Sarah Tollestrup, another co-chair said, “the LFS service model is built on making decisions that are driven by the needs of the community they serve. Improving the wellbeing of vulnerable populations helps create healthy communities.”
The Sprint to Light Gala will be held on Friday, April 25, 2025 at the Agri-Food Hub & Trade Centre. Tickets can be purchased here.
