City of Lethbridge hosting Community Conversation event

The City of Lethbridge is hosting a Community Conversation event again at the VisitLethbridge.com Arena.

The event takes place from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00, and will feature close to 50 projects, programs and services that the City of Lethbridge offers.

City of Lethbridge Communications & Engagement Manager Tara Grindle says the event is one of the best opportunities for the public to give feedback.

Among the many projects and services being highlighted at the event is one focused on enhancing safety measures at intersections and crosswalks for pedestrians.

Road Infrastructure Manager Richard Brummund says they will have an important piece of their operations on display.

Alongside the community events, the event will feature free activities like food and beverages, swag giveaways, and a free public skate on the ice at the area, which Lethbridge Hurricanes players will take part in later in the day.

Grindle added that these events have continued to happen because of their convenience, and the fact that satisfaction rates from everyone involved are high.
