Lethbridge to host 2025 Senior AA Men’s Provincial Hockey Championships

A provincial hockey tournament is coming to Lethbridge in 2025.

On Wednesday, February 5, 2025, Hockey Alberta announced that the Senior AA Men’s Provincial Championships will be held again after a year off in 2024.

Along with that announcement, they also revealed that Lethbridge will be the host.

The tournament will include teams from the Ranchland Hockey League, with the host and league champion participating, plus league champions from the Sask-Alta Hockey League (top Alberta team), the North Peace Hockey League and the North Central Hockey League.

The Lethbridge Lightning will compete for the provincials with their strong season, as they sit second place in the league with a 14-3-1 record, trailing only Nanton.
