LETHBRIDGE, AB – Two people are facing multiple charges after traffic stop by the Lethbridge Police Service (LPS).

Just after midnight on February 8, 2025, Police say a member of the K9 Unit stopped a vehicle along the 1200 block of 5 Avenue South after observing multiple traffic violations, including failing to stop at a stop sign and failing to use a turn signal.

When the vehicle was stopped, the officer observed open liquor inside along with drug paraphernalia. The driver reportedly had his license suspended, breaching conditions of a release order and was also wanted on an outstanding warrant for driving while unauthorized.

Police searched the vehicle, and allegedly seized nearly 170 grams of methamphetamine and 279 grams of fentanyl, along with drug paraphernalia and two fake license plates.

The driver and an occupant of the vehicle were charged, while a third person was released without charges.

Dakota Blaker-Sisco, 37, of Calgary, is charged with three counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking. Following a Judicial Interim Releasing hearing, he was released with conditions to appear in court February 27.

Daniel James Chrysler, 44, of Coaldale, is charged with failing to comply with the conditions of a release order. He was remanded in custody and is scheduled to appear in court on February 11.
