YWCA Lethbridge & District announces winners for 2025 Women of Distinction awards

LETHBRIDGE, AB – YWCA Lethbridge & District has announced the award winners for the 2025 Women of Distinction Awards event.

The organization hosts the awards every year in honour of International Women’s Day on March 8. 2025 will mark the 49th anniversary event aimed at celebrating the exceptional women in Lethbridge.

This year’s awards recipients are:

• Maral Kiani Tari – The Catalyst for Change Award
• Dr. Carly Adams – The Guiding Light Award
• Dr. Sayeh Zielke – The Shattered Ceilings Award
• Anna Campmans – The Young Woman of Promise Award
• Beverly Muendel-Atherstone – The Lottie M. Austin Lifetime Achievement Award

The organization says that each award winner exemplifies the values that are the foundational blocks of the YWCA Lethbridge: Community, Health & Wellbeing, and Compassion.
