Grass fire near Scenic Drive in Lethbridge

Lethbridge Fire and Emergency Services says its members are battling an active grass fire on the south side Friday afternoon.

It is located west of Scenic Drive between the Scenic Drive Dog Run and Scenic Heights Apartments.

Scenic Drive remains open, but residents and motorists are asked to avoid the area for the time being to give crews space to work safely

Smoke may be visible in the surrounding neighbourhoods.
