Nobody was injured in a residential fire on the west side early Sunday morning, March 9.

Lethbridge Fire and Emergency Services (LFES) says it was called to a fire on Trent Road West just before 1:00 a.m.

Twenty-five firefighters from four stations were dispatched.

They say they encountered heavy fire conditions and that it took them three hours to fully extinguish it.

Damages are estimated at approximately $390,000.

The cause of the blaze is under investigation.

LFES says it is important to ensure all residents have working smoke alarms and a home fire escape plan.
