Province hosting Budget 2025 town halls for southern Albertans

Southern Albertans can learn more about the proposed provincial budget at a pair of town hall meetings.

The Government of Alberta is hosting the meetings to give residents details about aspects of Budget 2025 and have their questions answered.

The first will be on the topic of “Investing in education” and focus on Calgary and southern Alberta. It will feature Education Minister Demetrios Nicolaides and Advanced Education Minister Rajan Sawhney.

That town hall takes place Tuesday, March 18 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

The other meeting, scheduled for Wednesday, March 26, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. will delve into the topics of “Workforce and economy.”

Participants can hear from the following government ministers:

  • Minister of Jobs, Economy and Trade Matt Jones
  • Minister of Agriculture and Irrigation RJ Sigurdson
  • Minister of Advanced Education Rajan Sawhney
  • Minister of Immigration and Multiculturalism Muhammad Yaseen
  • Minister of Technology and Innovation Nate Glubish
  • Minister of Transportation and Economic Corridors Devin Dreeshen
