Youth One announces gala to celebrate 10 years of impact

Mar 19, 2025 | 10:00 AM

Youth One, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting youth through mentorship and community programs, will mark its 10-year anniversary with a Black Tie Gala on March 29, 2025.

The event, presented by Allied Marketing Group, aims to recognize the organization’s impact on young people in the region while raising funds to continue its work.

The gala at the Sandman Signature Grand Ballroom in Lethbridge, will bring together community leaders, supporters, and advocates for an evening of reflection, storytelling, and fundraising.

Attendees can expect live entertainment, a keynote speech by Youth One’s CEO Jordan Schellenberg, and an auction to support youth sponsorships.

“This year’s Gala is particularly special as we mark our 10th anniversary,” says Schellenberg. “We’re setting a bold goal to raise $150,000, which will sponsor 100 youth through our programs for the entire school year. Every dollar raised will help provide opportunities for youth to belong, grow, and succeed.”

Proceeds from the event will go toward Youth One’s Launch Forward Sponsorship Program, which covers the costs of after-school drop-in programs, sports, personal development activities, and mentorship for youth, removing financial barriers for families.

Youth One has served thousands of young people since its founding, providing a space where they can connect, learn, and access support. The gala will serve as both a celebration of its achievements and a call to action for continued community involvement.
