People’s Party repping Paul O’Halloran in Foothills
A founding member of the People’s Party of Canada (PPC) looks to become one of its first representatives.
Paul O’Halloran has announced that he is running in the federal election for the PPC in the Foothills riding in southwestern Alberta.
O’Halloran is a former combat soldier with the Royal Canadian Regiment, serving for around 10 years before settling down in Diamond Valley.
He says he joined the effort to create the political party due to his “complete distrust” of the federal government, which he says often rewards itself while Canadians struggle to get by.
