Residents of Lethbridge can take part in the first of three candidates forums for the 2025 federal election.

The Lethbridge Chamber of Commerce is hosting its forum on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at the Yates Memorial Theatre.

Doors are set to open at 5:00 p.m. and candidates will spend one hour meeting with attendees. The forum itself runs from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

All six candidates in the Lethbridge federal riding will be at the event, including:

LNN’s David Opinko will be part of a media panel for the forum and will ask each of the candidates a series of questions.

Voters will have an opportunity to ask questions as well.

As of early Monday afternoon, Chamber of Commerce CEO Cyndi Crane told us that only a few seats were still available. She is asking anybody else who would like to attend to register on the Chamber’s website to ensure adequate space.

For anybody unable to attend this forum, there will be another two for the riding.

The Coaldale Chamber of Commerce will put on a forum at Civic Square on Monday, April 14. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. and the event begins at 7:00 p.m.

The Lethbridge Public Library will host its own Federal Election Forum on Wednesday, April 16 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the downtown branch.

Advance voting for the federal election runs from April 19-21 while the general voting day is April 28.
