Canes kick off second-round WHL playoff series Thursday in Calgary

For the first time since the 2018-19 season, the Lethbridge Hurricanes are entering the second round of the WHL playoffs.

They face the Calgary Hitmen in a best-of-seven series.

Lethbridge beat the Brandon Wheat Kings in the first round 4-1, and are now the third-ranked team in the Eastern Conference. The Hitmen stand at the top of the Conference as they swept the Saskatoon Blades in round one.

Games 1 and 2 take place on Thursday and Saturday, April 10 and 12 in Calgary.

The series will return to Lethbridge for Games 3 and 4 on Tuesday and Wednesday, April 15 and 16.
