UPDATE: The Lethbridge Police Service says the incident has been resolved and the public can resume regular use of the area.

“As this matter is related to a mental health issue, no further information will be released,” says LPS.

The Lethbridge Police Service (LPS) says it is dealing with a high-risk incident near its police headquarters.

Just after 8:00 a.m. on Friday, April 11, police said they were on scene at the incident along Scenic Drive South between 1 Avenue South and Highway 3.
